… Do you even wear your retainers? What was the point of wasting all of that money? :( what a shame. If you’re going to go through the entire process of getting your teeth to be perfect, why aren’t you working to keep them perfect? -_- people these days.

Sometimes, I just take a look back at all the people who I’ve recently met, and I sit here and think to myself: it’s amazing how in such a short time, someone who previously meant nothing to you can suddenly mean something to you.

Bobby pins arranged just the way I like them, room cleaned, desk organized, watching my favorite drama, I am in such a good mood. :)
I LOVE tea tree products from the Body Shop. Went on another haul today :) Since it’s summer time and I’m not as lazy as usual, I figured that this was the perfect chance to take good care of my skin :) I remember always using this last summer, and it kept my face sooo smooth. Over the year however, I stopped using it because I was always so lazy and tired, and my skin could have been better. This would be the perfect time to get back on that skin care track to having smooth skin. :)
The Body Shop had a Buy 3 get 2 free, buy 2 get 1 free, and buy 1 get 1 half off. I got 2 facial washes and got 1 free. :) The face masks were from previous purchases, I have yet to use them! I’m so happy with this purchase though. I was given a 15 dollar gift of anything in the store because I’ve purchased enough to get the reward, and you can bet that I got another jar of face mask. I lovelovelove the Tea Tree line from the body shop. <3 What a good way to start my summer off!
I also got flip flops from Old Navy, since I’ve worn out my brown pair. They had it in a super nice color that I wanted a year ago, and I was more than happy to be able to get those. :) Quick shopping trip for everything that I wanted, no wandering around unsure of what to get.
The swim banquet was on Thursday, and they presented the team with awards and goodbyes. I was so glad that I made the choice of joining swimming (one that was made a few days after the season started.) I am the slowest swimmer ever. And I’m not even lying. As the season began, I questioned why I joined, if I was so slow. I remember always feeling bad that I was slowing the team down, only to be reassured by such caring members that I was swimming to improve, not to beat anyone. Hoa, Michelle, Emily, all of those girls always told me not to care about what others thought. I joined swimming to improve my own time, not to compare myself to others. I realized this near the end of the season, and it was good that I even realized it at all. Though I was still the slowest, I have improved. I’ve tried my best, and I will continue to try. This season has been amazing and I am so thankful that I’ve been able to be a part of this team, this family.
Above is the award that I was fortunate to have received, given to me by Katherine and Kristin. Words could not have described how I felt as my name was called. I will never forget anything from this swim season, with my 2012 swimming family. (My last name was spelled wrong, but it’s okay!)
